How to Measure Your Head

To measure your circumference accurately, use a soft measuring tape and wrap it around your head, following your natural hairline. Start at the center of your forehead, move just above your ears, and bring the tape around the nape of your neck, meeting again at the forehead. Ensure the tape lies flat but not tight — this provides the most precise and comfortable measurement for your wigMD fit.

To measure Hairline to Nape, position your measuring tape at the center of your front hairline and guide it straight over the crown to the nape of your neck. Keep the tape flat against your scalp without pulling too tightly. This measurement ensures your wigMD system fits securely and naturally from front to back for optimal comfort and balance.

To measure Ear-to-Ear Across Crown, place the measuring tape at the top edge of one ear and extend it over the highest point of your crown to the top edge of the opposite ear. Keep the tape flat and gently contoured to your head’s shape for precision. This key wigMD measurement ensures a secure, natural fit that follows your head’s curvature perfectly.

To measure Ear-to-Ear Across Hairline, position the measuring tape at the edge of one ear and bring it across the front hairline to the opposite ear. Keep the tape snug along your natural hairline for the most accurate reading. This wigMD measurement ensures your wig frames the face naturally and aligns perfectly at the front for a seamless, professional fit.

To measure Ear-to-Ear Across Back, position the measuring tape at the bottom edge of one ear and extend it around the back of your head to the same point on the opposite ear. Keep the tape flat and snug against the nape area for an accurate reading. This wigMD measurement ensures your wig contours naturally along the back of your head for a stable, comfortable fit.

Care Instructions

Daily Care:

Always apply a professional-grade heat protectant before using any thermal tools.

Storage:

When not in use, store your wig on a mannequin head or in its original carry case to maintain its shape and balance.  Avoid storing your unit in tight spaces or under pressure, as this can alter curl pattern and base structure.

Nighttime Care

Return Policy

We accept returns on pre-made units only, provided they remain in original, unaltered condition — with no cut lace, wear, or modifications.  Returns must be requested within 3 days of delivery and pre-authorized by our support team before being shipped back.  All eligible returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee, which covers medical-grade sanitization, inspection, and reconditioning.  For the protection of our clients and artisans, unauthorized packages will not be opened or processed.

All custom WigMD units include a 30-Day Warranty covering manufacturing defects only.  If a verified defect arises within 30 days of delivery, we will repair or replace the unit at no additional cost.  This warranty does not apply to damage caused by wear, misuse, or unauthorized alterations.  Every return and repair is handled with clinical discipline, ethical care, and complete confidentiality — reflecting the medical-grade standards that define WigMD.
