Product Photos and Appearance
WigMD makes every effort to provide clear and accurate product photos, descriptions, and details.
However, wig appearance may vary due to:
- Lighting
- Screen settings
- Device display
- Camera exposure
- Natural human hair variation
- Handmade production
- Styling
- Product availability
- Hair source variation
- Curl or wave pattern differences
Photos are provided as a visual guide, but exact appearance may vary slightly from unit to unit.
Human Hair Variation
Many WigMD wigs are made with human hair. Human hair is natural and may vary in color, texture, softness, thickness, curl pattern, wave pattern, and behavior.
Natural variation is not considered a defect.
Human hair may respond differently to:
- Washing
- Conditioning
- Heat styling
- Humidity
- Products
- Coloring
- Bleaching
- Daily wear
- Storage
- Maintenance routine
Customers are responsible for following proper wig care instructions to maintain the longevity and appearance of their wig.
Color, Texture, and Density Expectations
WigMD does its best to represent colors, textures, curl patterns, and density levels accurately.
However, customers should understand that:
- Colors may appear different on screens.
- Natural hair colors may vary slightly between bundles or batches.
- Curl and wave patterns may loosen or change after washing.
- Density may look different depending on length, texture, styling, and cap construction.
- Blonde, gray, highlighted, or colored hair may require extra care.
- Textured hair may require more maintenance, hydration, and detangling.
A difference caused by lighting, screen display, natural hair variation, or customer preference is not considered a craftsmanship error.

Measurements may include:
- Circumference
- Front to nape
- Ear to ear across forehead
- Ear to ear over top
- Temple to temple around back

For custom wigs, medical wigs, cranial prostheses, and made-to-order pieces, fit depends on the accuracy of the measurements provided.
