A repair estimate may include:
- Recommended repair services
- Estimated cost
- Estimated processing time
- Shipping fees, if applicable

- Whether the repair is expected to improve or fully correct the issue
Repair estimates are not guaranteed until the wig has been inspected.
WigMD reserves the right to update the estimate if the wig’s condition is different than expected once received.

Repair work will not begin until the customer approves the repair estimate and completes any required payment.
By approving the repair estimate, the customer agrees to:
- The listed repair services
- The repair cost
- The estimated timeline
- Any limitations explained by WigMD
- The possibility that repair results may vary based on the wig’s condition
Once repair work begins, the repair fee may be non-refundable.
Repair Timelines
Repair timelines vary based on the type of repair, condition of the wig, materials needed, order volume, and service complexity.
Estimated repair timelines will be provided after review when possible.
Repair timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Repair delays may occur due to:
- Severe damage
- Material availability
- Lace or hair sourcing
- Additional issues discovered during inspection
- Customer approval delays
- Payment delays
- High service volume
- Shipping delays
Wigs Purchased from WigMD

A repair request does not automatically qualify as a warranty claim.
Wigs Not Purchased from WigMD
WigMD may review wigs not purchased from WigMD for paid repair or maintenance services at our discretion.
However, WigMD reserves the right to decline repair services for wigs not purchased from WigMD.
WigMD is not responsible for the original construction, materials, quality, fit, lifespan, or previous workmanship of wigs purchased from another company.

Customer-requested changes must be approved before work begins.

Shipping for Repairs
Customers are responsible for shipping the wig to WigMD unless WigMD confirms otherwise in writing.
We recommend shipping repair items using a trackable and insured shipping method with signature confirmation.
WigMD is not responsible for repair items that are lost, stolen, delayed, misdelivered, or damaged while in transit to WigMD.
Return shipping fees may apply once repair service is complete.
Damage During Shipping
Customers are responsible for properly packaging repair items before shipment.
WigMD is not responsible for damage caused by poor packaging or carrier handling before the item arrives at WigMD.
If a repair item is damaged in transit, the customer may need to file a claim with the shipping carrier.
Return Shipping After Repair
Once repairs are complete, WigMD will ship the item to the approved return address.
Return shipping may include tracking, insurance, and signature confirmation when applicable.
If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, refusal, or failure to pick up the package, the customer may be responsible for reshipping fees.
Unclaimed Repair Items
Customers must respond to repair approvals, payment requests, shipping requests, or pickup notifications in a timely manner.
If a repaired item is not paid for, picked up, or approved for return shipping within the stated timeframe provided by WigMD, storage fees may apply.
Items left unclaimed for an extended period may be considered abandoned, subject to applicable law.
Repair Cancellations
A repair request may be canceled before repair work begins.
Once repair work has started, cancellation may not be available.
If a repair is canceled after WigMD has inspected the item, prepared the service, ordered materials, cleaned the wig, or started work, fees may apply.
Repairs and Refunds
Repair services are not automatically refundable.
Refunds for repair services may be limited once labor, inspection, cleaning, styling, materials ordering, or repair work has begun.
If WigMD determines that a paid repair service cannot be completed after inspection, WigMD may offer:
- A revised repair option
- Store credit
- Partial refund
- Return shipment of the item
